On the afternoon of May 30, the launching ceremony of the 8th China International "Internet +" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in our school's concert hall. This competition is hosted by the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Education, hosted by our school, and co-organized by the Heilongjiang Branch of China Construction Bank. The launch conference is carried out in a combination of "online + offline". Relying on the live broadcast of the smart tree platform, schools have set up branch venues, which was watched by nearly 40,000 teachers and students from colleges and universities in the province.

A competition theme song "Light" sung by teachers and students of our school opened the opening ceremony.

Jiang Minghu addressed the ceremony. He said that as the organizer of this competition, Northeast Petroleum University feels the honor of its mission and great responsibility. At the ceremony, Gao Hongfeng, vice president of our school, received the "Internet +" provincial flag from Cui Weiguo, vice president of Heilongjiang Bayi Agricultural University, which hosted the last competition.

Representatives of units, individuals and winning teams of the 7th China International "Internet +" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for College Students took the stage to accept the award.

Li Bing from Harbin Engineering University, the excellent instructor of the Gold Medal Project of the National Competition, delivered a speech as the personal representative.

At the end of the ceremony, the leaders at the meeting pressed the button on the big screen and jointly opened the 8th China International "Internet Plus" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition for College Students in Heilongjiang Province.

It is reported that the China International "Internet Plus" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has become an important platform for colleges and universities to improve the quality of talent training, promote the integration of industry and education, collaborative education, serve the national and regional economic and social development, and help young students to cultivate innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity. Since it was held in 2015, the number of students participating in the competition has exceeded 1.5 million, and more than 220,000 entries have won 10 gold, 41 silver and 158 bronze medals, which reflects the talent training level of colleges and universities in our province and the comprehensive strength of scientific and technological innovation of teachers and students, and shows the good spirit of "Dare to Break through and Innovate" of students in Heilongjiang Province.
