On the afternoon of August 1st, Hu Qiyue, general manager and Deputy Party Secretary of petrochina Well Logging Co., LTD., visited our university and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with our university. The forum was held in the conference room on the fifth floor of the library. Party Secretary of the University Fu Xiaofei, President Jiang Minghu, Vice President Dong Hongli, leaders of relevant units and some experts and teachers representatives attended the meeting. At the meeting, Dong Hongli introduced the basic situation of the school, the development layout, school-running characteristics, personnel training and overall scientific research. Chen Feng, Deputy general manager of CNPC Well Logging Co., LTD., introduced the basic information of CPC well logging and the achievements of independent scientific research and innovation. Professor Zhao Xiaoqing, a well logging expert of our university, introduced the construction of the well logging major of our university and the advantageous research direction. The two sides discussed how to strengthen scientific research, personnel training, academic exchanges and future cooperation.

At the meeting, Hu Qiyue expressed his gratitude to our school for its long-term support and help to CPC logging construction and development. He said that the company will increase the investment in scientific and technological research, encourage scientific and technological innovation, promote the solution of production technology problems, hope to continue to strengthen the cooperation with the university in scientific research, talent training, platform construction and resource sharing, jointly promote the integration of industry, university and research, innovation cooperation system and mechanism, to achieve high-quality development of both schools and enterprises.

Fu Xiaofei pointed out that over the years, the development of the university cannot be separated from the strong support of large petroleum and petrochemical enterprises, and the development of the energy industry cannot be separated from the deep integration of the university and enterprise. After the meeting, participants visited some laboratories of the unconventional Oil and Gas Research Institute of our university.
