On December 20, the first National Post-Doctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the People's Government of Guangdong Province, ended in Foshan International Sports, Culture and Performance Center in Guangdong Province. Wei Jianguang Group's project of "Efficient Development Technology of Continental Shale Oil fracking-Energy-augmentation-imbibition Integration" won the silver Prize of Innovation Competition.

This competition is the largest, highest level and broadest coverage nationwide post-doctoral innovation and entrepreneurship competition since the implementation of China's post-doctoral system. With the theme of "Develop scientific and technological Essence and Innovation to Lead the Future", the competition consists of four groups, including innovation competition, entrepreneurship competition, overseas (overseas) competition and opening title leading competition. It has attracted more than 5,000 team projects and 24,000 people registered for the competition. Project teams from all over the country compete fiercely online and offline. Finally, 57 gold awards, 91 silver awards and 125 bronze awards were selected.
