On the afternoon of May 8th, the second Heilongjiang Provincial College Teachers' Teaching Innovation Competition and National College Teachers' Teaching Innovation Competition (Longjiang Competition area), undertaken by Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Education and hosted by Northeast Agricultural University and Heilongjiang Chaoxing Information Technology Co., LTD was ended on a high note. Yan Bing from the School of Humanities and Sciences of our university won the first prize of the Senior high group (total 6 teachers from universities in the province) and was the first to advance to the National Competition on behalf of the Senior High School Group (total 4 teachers from universities in the province). This was the second time our school represented Heilongjiang Province in the National competition after 2021. Xu Ying from the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering won the first prize of the Associate high group (total 8 teachers from universities in the province), and Xu Tingting from the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering won the first prize of the Intermediate and below group (total 10 teachers from universities in the province). Guan Shuxia from the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering won the second prize of the Associate high Group, Leng Cuiling from the School of Marxism won the second prize of the Associate High group, and Ren Ying from the School of Earth Sciences won the second prize of the Intermediate and below group. Li Qiaozhen from the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering won the third prize of the Intermediate and below group, and Yang Yuntong from the School of Physics and Electronic Engineering won the third prize of the Intermediate and below group. Our school won the Excellent Organization award.

Since the competition was launched in November last year, the participating teachers and teams of our school have been preparing for the competition with all their efforts, carefully polishing and repeatedly rehearsing the competition scenes. The Academic Affairs Office and the secondary school department extensively publicized, carefully organized, and mobilized the teachers of the whole school to actively participate. They invited the school's supervising expert, Ms. Guan Lijie, the winner of the first National Teaching Innovation Design Competition, Ms. Zhang Luying, the winner of the First Heilongjiang Province College Teaching Innovation Design Competition, and other teachers around to provide special guidance to the contestants. Cooperated with modern Education Technology Center, Logistics Management Office and other departments to provide technical support and guarantee throughout the whole process, many times the whole process simulation competition, effectively improve the quality of the competition.

The results of this competition fully demonstrate the solid teaching basic skills, excellent professional quality and rich teaching innovation achievements of our teachers and team. In the next step, the school will take teaching innovation competition, young teachers' teaching competition, curriculum Ideological and political competition, classroom teaching expert, famous teaching teacher, famous young teaching teacher and other teacher teaching competition as the starting point, strengthen teaching demonstration and guidance, promote teaching by competition, promote learning by competition, promote reform by competition, and integrate competition and training, comprehensively improve teachers' teaching ability.

It is reported that the College Teachers Teaching Innovation Competition is a national competition under the guidance of the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and hosted by the Chinese Association of Higher Education. With its innovation, comprehensiveness, richness and multi-dimensionality, the competition has attracted widespread attention and extensive participation from universities all over the country. Each province, autonomous region and municipality directly under the Central government shall set up sub-divisions. The competition is divided into three groups according to the professional and technical rank of the lecturers: senior group, Junior senior Group, intermediate group and below group. There are 406 students for the 2nd National College Teachers Teaching Innovation Competition and 12 students for the Longjiang Competition. The theme of this competition is "Promoting teaching Innovation, Cultivating first-class talents". The goal is to further promote the reform of college education and teaching, effectively help the construction of "Four New", give full play to the demonstration and leading role of the competition, comprehensively promote the ideological and political courses and curriculum ideological and political cooperation to peers, and carefully create a benchmarking display and exchange platform for college teachers' teaching innovation.
